Yinyifan (Merlene) Mo is an industrial designer. She studied Product Design during Undergrad at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, Los Angles. Her design philosophy centers around prioritizing accessibility, ensuring that her products and experiences cater to the limitations and challenges faced by individuals. Before MADE, her design projects garnered recognition by winning several international competitions, including the Core77 Design Award, the IDEA Awards, and the Global Sportswear Design Award. Throughout her undergraduate years, Merlene completed three internships, gained experiences from design consultancy companies to consumer companies such as Munchkin and Motiv. By immersing herself in diverse work environments, she gained valuable insights and honed her skills in real-world design contexts.
