→ TOEFL Score (if applicable) Brown University is aware that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic may have placed burdensome challenges in sitting for the required center-based standardized exams. Please note that we do NOT accept the At Home version of the TOEFL exam nor the IELTS Indicator exam. However, students in mainland China may submit the TOEFL ITP Plus in lieu of the TOEFL iBT. If the COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult to sit for an English language exam, a waiver may be requested. To be considered for a TOEFL or IELTS waiver, please submit this form. You will need your application login credentials.

MADE applications are due on January 19, 2022. Notification of admission will be sent via email and viewable in the application portal by Early March, 2022.
Scholarship support may be awarded to select candidates who have demonstrated financial need and who have a record of outstanding achievements and demonstrate the potential to contribute significantly to peer-to-peer learning that is valued so highly in the program.
Additionally, to supplement other forms of support that may be received from Brown, students may also be eligible for federal direct student loans and other alternative loans. Student loans for graduate students are administered through the Office of Financial Aid.
