Sarah is a self-taught designer from San Francisco, California with an interest in creating products at the intersection of public health, design, and data science. She studied Molecular Environmental Biology at UC Berkeley where she participated in computational biology research on hearing loss. Since graduation, Sarah has worked in the public health and healthcare fields as a data scientist and COVID-19 contact tracer. She is excited to gain a formal design education and incorporate these skills into her work. In her free time, she enjoys ceramics, watercolors, rock climbing, and snowboarding.
