Brown-RISD Master of Arts in Design Engineering

Khipra Nichols is an Associate Professor of Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).  He received his BID from RISD in 1978, and was Designer in Hasbro’s infant and preschool divisions before joining the RISD faculty in 1998. Khipra earned 16 patents while co-designing popular toys, like My Little Pony, and Mr. Potato Head. An advocate of meditation he is finding new ways to combine the benefits of meditation with those of creativity and design thinking.
