Kexin Wang
Biography
Kexin Wang is a designer of interspecies communication tools from China. Her research interests include apparel technology, biology, robotics, and digital fabrication. She aims to create digital tools for new fabrication methods and wearable devices for human enhancement to investigate interspecies communication methods.
She graduated from the China Academy of Art with a BA in Fashion and Accessory Design and has work experience in several fashion companies (ANGEL CHEN, KENZO, GRAZIA). Because of her concern for the connection between clothing and culture, as well as technology-driven clothing and textiles, she gradually realized the significance of removing informational barriers. She is attempting to break free from her previous identity as just a fashion designer and hopes to play the role of a communicator between various groups.
