Chaki Ng has been a product and technology executive for startups and Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, he has served as CPO / CTO at startups such as Forge (construction tech), Hopps (expert marketplace) and Luminopia (digital health). 

Previously, he was SVP Product at Paramount / Viacom leading all digital and streaming products for brands like MTV and VH1. He was also GM and founder of two corporate innovation labs, including Viacom NEXT (VR / AR for entertainment).

Chaki started his career as a software engineer in eLearning and co-founded and sold Interactive Constructs, which served top publishers such as Scholastic and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. He holds PhD and SM degrees in CS from Harvard, MBA from MIT Sloan, BS in CS from Northeastern and did research at the MIT Media Lab. His academic research interests include distributed systems, sensor networks, mechanism design and new user interfaces.
